The Yokomo YS-4L-8 R. Shock Body is a replacement housing for rear damper units used on off-road R/C cars. It locates the internal damper components and supports consistent piston travel and seal alignment under repeated servicing.

Replace the shock body when wear or damage affects sealing or piston travel, or when changing components during suspension tuning. Standard damper servicing applies: drain oil, remove the cap and shaft, transfer parts into the new body with care, then confirm seals and refill. This product is designed for R/C models only and is not for full-size vehicle use.

In tuning sessions the shock body improves access and inspection but does not alter piston dimensions or damping valving by itself. During reassembly check for surface damage, ensure O-rings are correctly seated, and confirm shaft clearance to reduce the chance of leaks and keep damping consistent.
