The Yokomo YZ-821-2 front wheel set modernises the YZ-870C by replacing the original 1.9-inch wheel fitment and allowing use of common 2.2-inch tyres. This upgrade keeps the original hub look while fitting larger tyre profiles.

With YZ-821-2 wheels you can choose from a larger market of tyre patterns and compounds to suit loose dirt, hardpack or indoor surfaces. The increased tyre diameter commonly improves stability and cornering grip without altering wheel mounting points.

Practical Installation Advice

When you fit 2.2in tyres, review your gearing and consider a smaller pinion to maintain a usable powerband. The wheels do not come with pre-drilled vent holes so you can add holes with a drill or reamer where required for tyre breathing or cooling.
