Installation and operation notes

The Yokomo YZ-MBCW is an adapter cable for attaching a battery checker to different pack types without altering the pack connector. It plugs into the checker with a Dean's 2P and also provides an alligator clip lead for accessing individual cell terminals.

It covers Ni‑Cd and Ni‑MH packs from 1 to 10 cells and Li‑Po and Li‑Fe from 1 to 3 cells, with measurable steps down to 0.001V. Use it when you need accurate pack or cell voltages during assembly, maintenance, or setup.

To fit, connect the Dean's 2P to the checker input or clamp the alligator clip to the cell or pack terminal. Always keep the free connector away from metal surfaces while a battery is connected to prevent shorts.
