Maintenance kit for YZ-2 Stock MIP Puck

The rebuild kit contains the spare parts for the MIP Puck drive arrangement on the YZ-2 Stock model. It is aimed at replacing worn items at the drive cup and joint interface so the main drivetrain remains untouched.

Included are parts that tackle usual wear points: pins securing the dogbone tip, a set of resin joint protectors to protect the mating surfaces, fixing screws and a small tube of joint grease. These help return correct clearances and sustain predictable driveline behavior after heavy use.

Installation follows common YZ-2 Stock service practice: remove the old protectors and pins, apply the supplied grease to contact faces, fit the new protectors and tighten with the provided screws. Confirm the dogbones move freely and perform a short test run to verify fitment.

Replacing worn protectors and pins restores original clearances, which helps return the driveline response to its intended feel and keeps torque transfer consistent.
Replace protectors and pins when visible wear or play appears at the joint or after frequent running; visual inspection before a run session is a good practice.
Make sure the joint faces are clean, apply the supplied grease sparingly to the mating surfaces, and check dogbone rotation before final tightening to avoid binding.
