The bell crank retains stock geometry when fitted, but the reduced flex can change steering feel. Check toe and ackerman after installation to fine tune handling to your preference.

Should I use thread locker on the fittings?

Applying a medium strength thread locker to metal-to-metal fasteners is recommended to prevent loosening during aggressive driving. Avoid getting thread locker on moving pivots.
