Adjust rear arm height with a spacer for YZ-2

This is an RC-scale rear suspension mount spacer made for the Yokomo YZ-2 series. It is used when altering the position of the plastic rear suspension mount pieces; by inserting the spacer you get finer, incremental adjustments to rear suspension arm height without changing the original mount components.

Employ this spacer to refine ride height and roll centre or to even-out geometry after swapping rear mount plates. It stacks on top of the existing plastic mount layers, providing a controlled offset rather than replacing the factory parts. Make modest adjustments and validate handling as you go.

To install, loosen or remove the rear mount as required, insert the spacer between the plastic mount layers in the chosen location, then reassemble and check alignment. After installation, confirm suspension travel and wheel clearance before high-speed runs.

Compatibility

  • B-YZ2

It is intended for small setup changes and stacks with the factory mounts. Regularly inspect the stack and fasteners after track use to ensure no abnormal wear or loosening occurs.
Yes. The compatibility list includes B-YZ2, B-YZ4, B-YZ2CA, B-YZ2DT and B-YZ2DTM. Always trial-fit the spacer with your specific mount plate arrangement before final runs.
After fitting, test at low speed to check handling changes, suspension travel and wheel clearance. Tighten fasteners and re-check alignment after the first short session.
