Aluminium motor mount for raised gearbox

This machined aluminium motor mount fits raised gearbox configurations on Yokomo YZ-2CA/DTM platforms. Changing the motor mounting hole selection lets you move the motor up or down to match the driveline when the gearbox is pushed upward using the relevant spacer set.

The plate includes two motor mounting positions to handle different motor offsets. Using the position marked "-2" restores the motor to the original longitudinal placement when the gearbox is raised by 2mm, which helps keep correct pinion and spur mesh without extra shimming. The component is intended as a direct replacement for chassis that accept this mount style.

Installation guidance: bolt the mount to the chassis and gearbox as normal, check gear mesh after switching hole positions, and confirm motor alignment before final tightening.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
After installation tighten the mount just enough to hold position, spin the drivetrain by hand and inspect pinion to spur contact. Make fine adjustments to motor position or mesh before fully tightening fasteners.
No special brackets are required; the plate provides the alternate hole positions for standard motor mounting screws. Use the "-2" hole to compensate for a 2mm gearbox raise without changing motor mount hardware.
