30g rear ballast for YZ-2

This product is a compact rear balance weight for YZ-2 series chassis, roughly 30g in mass. It attaches to the main chassis underneath the rear transmission case, with a contoured shape to match the chassis profile and avoid interference with adjacent parts.

Used as a setup aid, the weight helps lower the centre of gravity and improve traction at the rear. The supply pack includes double-sided tape for fixing; clean the mounting area thoroughly and press the unit firmly into place to ensure reliable adhesion.

Only the YZ-2 variants shown are supported; check the compatibility list if your chassis has different model codes prior to purchasing.

  • B-YZ2DTM2S
  • B-YZ2

  • B-YZ2DT
  • B-YZ2DTM
  • B-YZ2DTMW

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The nominal mass is 30 grams; small manufacturing variances may affect the exact measured weight by a gram or two.
Remove grease and dust from the chassis surface, peel the protective film from the tape, align the unit under the transmission case and press firmly for several seconds to bond.
Adding 30g at the rear shifts weight bias rearward and lowers CG, which typically increases rear traction; tuning balance should be evaluated on-track to assess the exact handling change.
