Center/Rear Pulley for the YZ-4 Chassis

This item is a standard drive pulley intended for the 4WD YZ-4 off-road chassis. It serves as the centre and rear pulley flange, ensuring the belt or gear interface stays aligned and allowing worn parts to be replaced during scheduled maintenance.

The pulley has an 18T tooth profile and the identical basic part is used for both centre and rear mounting; flange thickness is the variable, with a thinner flange designated for centre mounting and a thicker flange for the rear. Fit the thinner flange where space is limited and the thicker flange where extra lateral support is needed.

Fitting notes: verify flange thickness to confirm correct orientation, ensure the pulley seats correctly on the shaft or hub, and inspect runout once installed. For tuning, swapping flange thickness can remedy small lateral belt alignment or mesh concerns without changing other drivetrain components.

Supported Chassis B-YZ4.

Yes. The unit is made to work in both positions; choose the flange thickness appropriate to the location for correct fit and function.
After installation, confirm the pulley sits flush on the shaft or hub and rotate the assembly to check runout. Any noticeable wobble indicates improper seating or a damaged part.
Minor adjustments to flange thickness can improve lateral alignment without significant impact on overall drivetrain geometry, but large changes should be evaluated carefully.
