Small Shims for Accurate Setup

The Yokomo ZC-A3805BA aluminium shim is a compact solution for small suspension adjustments. At 3x8x0.5mm and finished in black anodise, these shims work as suspension mount spacers to refine handling in tight increments.

Works with Several Yokomo Chassis

These shims are compatible with known chassis such as YR-10F, YR-X12, YR-X1219, YRF-001RF, and YRF-001W. They are handy to keep in your spares box when you are testing setup changes between runs.

Pack Details and Practical Use

Four shims are supplied per pack, enabling consistent spacing across multiple mounting points or spare replacements. The anodised surface resists wear and blends with most black hardware on the model.

Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.

Can these shims change camber or toe settings?

They are primarily spacers, so placing them at key mount points can alter camber and toe indirectly by shifting mounting geometry. Use them cautiously and measure changes after each adjustment.

Do they need special fasteners?

No special fasteners are required; standard screws used on your chassis will work. Make sure threads are clean and torque is controlled to avoid crushing the shim.

Are these shims reusable after removal?

Yes, aluminium shims are reusable if not deformed. Inspect for burrs or bends before reinstalling to keep precise spacing.

Should I use them front or rear first when testing?

Change one axle at a time and test laps between adjustments. Depending on the handling issue, starting with the end that understeers or oversteers will give clearer feedback.
