Can this mount be used on touring cars as well?

While optimised for drift shells, it can work on some touring bodies if magnet placement and spacer height are adjusted to match the body contours and ground clearance.

How strong are the magnets for bashing or track use?

Magnets provide a solid hold suitable for drift impacts and cornering forces. For heavy bashing choose higher grade replacement magnets if needed to increase retention.

Is the mount compatible with painted shells?

Yes, painted shells work fine. Ensure paint thickness does not prevent good magnetic contact and check that magnet mounting points are aligned after you install the shell.
