Fitment notes for YRF 001W Wide chassis

This RC-scale front wheel set is supplied as a pair and is intended specifically for the YRF 001W Wide chassis. It is offered as a direct replacement or as an upgrade when a wider front tyre footprint is required to adjust steering and turn-in characteristics on scale touring car circuits.

Compatibility is limited to the listed chassis model: verify the YRF 001W Wide chassis wheel mounting system before installation. The wheels fit onto the existing front hubs and retained hardware; after installing, measure wheel runout and tighten wheel nuts to the torque recommended by the chassis maker.

From a setup standpoint, increasing front wheel width raises contact at the tyre edge and can change initial turn-in and mid-corner steering feel. Use these wheels in combination with front toe and suspension tweaks to fine tune balance, and re-check static camber and alignment after any modification.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Remove the existing front wheels, fit the new wheels onto the original hubs, check runout, then tighten wheel nuts to the chassis manufacturer's recommended torque. Verify no binding or contact with suspension components.
These wheels are designed to use the chassis' retained hardware and hubs. If your model uses spacers or specific hex sizes, confirm those fit the wider wheel before running.
Mount the wheel and rotate it while observing lateral runout against a fixed reference or runout gauge. If excessive, re-seat the wheel and hubs or check for bent hexes or hubs before finalising torque.
