Precision rear mounting bulk head for YR-X12

This is a machined aluminum rear bulk head made for the Yokomo YR-X12 1/12 competition chassis. The black anodized coating and chamfered edges lower sharpness and provide a consistent external finish. It forms the rear mounting platform for suspension and drivetrain attachment points on the back of the chassis.

Compatibility covers YR-X12 and YR-X1219 chassis platforms. The part keeps the stock mounting footprints so it is intended as a direct replacement for the factory rear bulk head while maintaining chassis geometry for handling predictability.

Installation notes: position the bulk head on the chassis rear section and fasten with the vehicle's existing hardware and mounting points; verify alignment before final tightening to secure correct rear suspension and drivetrain geometry. The anodized layer reduces surface wear and offers standard corrosion protection for treated aluminum components.

Tuning impact: replacing the stock part with a machined aluminum rear bulk head can shift rear stiffness and enhance mounting repeatability, which helps when dialing in 1/12 circuit handling.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Fitting a machined aluminum bulk head tends to reduce flex at the rear mounting points, increasing stiffness. That change can tighten rear response and alter how the car rotates in mid-corner, so expect a different balance compared with plastic units.
It can be beneficial to reassess rear shock rates and roll center settings after installation, as the added stiffness can interact with suspension tuning and affect handling characteristics.
Weight difference versus stock parts will depend on the original material, but the focus of this upgrade is mounting precision and stiffness rather than major mass reduction or gain.
