Soft shock seal with enhanced oil tolerance

The YS-7HGCA is a soft-profile O-ring for RC shock assemblies, made from a fluorine-based material chosen for its resistance to common shock oils and its ability to maintain sealing properties over time. The soft section boosts contact with the piston and reduces the likelihood of friction-induced sticking for smoother damping.

Included in the pack is a polyslider shim that can be used when the damper cylinder shape benefits from an added contact surface to reduce oil leakage. Use the shim if you detect minor seepage or when switching cylinder types to adjust sealing performance without changing internal parts.

For installation, pull the shock shaft and check piston and cylinder for wear, replace the worn O-ring with the YS-7HGCA, and fit the polyslider shim only where cylinder geometry or oil behavior warrants it. Reassemble and gently cycle the damper to ensure smooth travel and no signs of leaking.
