The Yokomo Z2-118PD battery plate is an RC graphite mounting tray built for the YZ-2DT range of 2WD off-road buggies. It replaces the factory plate to provide a secure location for the battery during aggressive running.

It fits B-YZ2DT series chassis variants—B-YZ2DT, B-YZ2DTMW, B-YZ2DTM, B-YZ2DTM2, B-YZ2CAL2, and B-YZ2DTM2S—so it can be used where the original YZ-2DT battery footprint and screw pattern exist. The graphite material yields a lightweight, stiff alternative to standard composite plates.

Installation is routine: remove the stock plate, transfer straps and hardware when applicable, then attach the Z2-118PD using the same screw positions. Double-check screw lengths and strap routing to avoid interference. Swapping to graphite can slightly change chassis balance and feel, so reassess trim and battery positioning when tuning for different tracks.
