Left and Right 3G Transmission Housing for YZ-2DTM

This 3-gear transmission housing is built for the 2WD YZ-2DTM platform and holds the 3G gear train in place. It serves as the mounting structure for the chassis driveline components on YZ-2DTM based vehicles.

Use the left/right set to replace worn or damaged housings on compatible B-YZ2DTM family models. The component is aimed at maintenance and repair where correct enclosure fit and alignment influence gear engagement and drivetrain behavior.

Installation advice: ensure bearings are correctly seated, align parts carefully during reassembly, verify gear mesh and eliminate excessive freeplay, and recheck any reused seals or shims. The part is intended to match the original fit rather than to change gear ratios.

Compatibility

  • B-YZ2DTM
  • B-YZ2DTMW
  • B-YZ2DTM2
  • B-YZ2CAL2
  • B-YZ2DTM2S
Remark :

The housing positions the gear train, so correct seating and alignment are essential. After installation, adjust pinion and spur mesh as required to achieve optimal quiet running and minimal backlash.
A correctly fitted and undamaged housing supports proper mesh, which can reduce noise caused by misalignment. However, noise is also influenced by gear condition and bearing health.
Rotate the drivetrain by hand to confirm smooth movement, recheck gear mesh and bearing sit, and tighten fasteners to spec before applying power for a test run.
