Graphite centre link tailored to YZ-4S

This graphite centre link is intended for 1/10 scale YZ-4S touring car use as an RC suspension tuning piece, not for any road vehicle. It supplies three selectable tie rod mounting holes so you can alter Ackermann without replacing steering blocks or uprights.

Fitting the link means removing the original centre link and refitting with the current steering linkage fasteners; always check for full steering travel clearance at each pivot before final tightening. Because the material is graphite, avoid overtightening bolts which can create stress risers in the part.

Practical tuning notes: inner pivot positions tend to increase inner wheel steering for a sharper turn-in feel, while outer positions cut inner wheel angle to aid stability on corner exit. Any changes should be reviewed in conjunction with toe and servo travel to preserve consistent steering behavior.

Compatible Models

  • YZ-4S
  • B-YZ4SF

The innermost pivot produces the fastest turn-in by increasing inside wheel angle. Use small increments and test on track to avoid oversteer from too much inside angle.
No, the center link is designed to work with your existing steering blocks and uprights. Pivot changes adjust geometry without requiring other steering component swaps.
Use moderate torque values appropriate for graphite and the supplied hardware; tighten gradually and avoid sudden high torque to prevent cracking. Verify tightness after initial runs.
