Height adapter for YZ-4SF/B-YZ4SF drive geometry

This aftermarket gearbox height adapter is designed for use with YZ-4SF standard components and B-YZ4SF chassis arrangements. It attaches at both gearbox ends on the bulkhead so you can alter vertical placement without modifying the chassis or gearbox housing.

Raising or lowering the gearbox alters the relative angle between the universal shaft and the suspension arm / upper arm. Adjusting that angle lets you tune traction and corner entry behaviour using drivetrain geometry changes rather than altering suspension springs or damping.

Fitting is direct on compatible bulkheads: the adapter is mounted to each gearbox end and bolted into the bulkhead's existing points, keeping the assembly service-friendly and within standard RC service practice.

Compatibility depends on whether the aftermarket bulkhead retains the standard YZ-4SF gearbox mounting points. If those points are present the adapter should fit; confirm screw patterns and clearances before fitting.

Can I use this adapter alongside other drivetrain upgrades?

Yes. The adapter changes gearbox height and shaft angle, which complements gear ratio, slipper and diff upgrades. Be mindful of drive shaft alignment to avoid excess wear when combining multiple changes.
