The Yokomo YZ-002GW1 main chassis is a 2.5mm graphite plate tailored for the YZ-W91TS platform. Its stiffer profile helps produce more predictable steering and reduced twist, while preserving the factory mounting geometry so handling differences come from material properties rather than layout changes.

Installation fits standard YZ-W91TS/YZ-W91 builds that use factory mounting hardware. When replacing the stock plate, ensure the motor mount, servo and battery tray are correctly aligned before final tightening. Because chassis stiffness affects weight transfer, expect handling to evolve as you adapt suspension and damping settings.

Small changes in battery placement or chassis shimming can rebalance the car. Test changes gradually and record results for each session.
Start with baseline suspension settings, run a few laps, then adjust one parameter at a time to evaluate how the increased stiffness affects handling.
